WIRELESS CHARGING

The built-in Qi wireless charging feature conveniently charges your compatible smartphone on the shelf top.

No matter what you’re into, the TSX-B237D will showcase your music with trademark Yamaha sound.

The Bass Boost mode is ideal for listening to music ─ as if you were actually there with the performer. Alternatively, Standard mode optimises sound performance for dialogue-driven content such as talk-back radio.

INTELLIGENT ALARM CLOCK

The TSX-B237D features a large, easy-to-read clock display with an intelligent alarm with snooze and sleep timer that gently wakes you ─ filtering harsh high frequencies initially, before gradually restoring the full audio spectrum and finally sounding a beeping tone to ensure you wake up comfortably and refreshed.

You can also customise the alarm by selecting your preferred audio source and program weekly alarm settings via Yamaha’s free Multimedia Music Controller app.

Super sound
I have always been a Bose customer in the past and have struggled until now to find a worthy unit.
Wasn’t overly impressed with my Tivoli purchase years ago but am now smiling when I turn on this Yamaha.
So pure and comfortable room filling sound, regardless of volume attracts praise from visitors. However I call a spade a spade so here goes.
It doesn’t have a battery backup so after a power failure, the time is wrong. Secondly I don’t know what Yamaha were thinking but they decided to change the colour scheme of the white radio.
It looks great on the website. It looks great on the box.
But in reality, they decided to paint the speakers white and that, in my opinion, was a huge mistake.
To own a quality appliance goes beyond the quality of the product but also stands as a piece of art; a feature piece that exudes status and prestige. The sound quality certainly ticks all those boxes.
However, this ‘white’ system almost crosses the line to ‘tacky’.
Enough said. I’m super happy with my radio but the stylist at Yamaha should be sacked.

Very good all rounder
This is a great machine with excellent sound for its size. The only drawback is that the clock doesn't have a backup battery so it resets when power is turned off. I use this on my workbench so don't want power on all the time.

Beautiful design with high quality audio and plenty of features. Heaps of presets to customise, meaning your fav station or listening mode is only a click away. Easy to pair to your phone too.
