Frequently Asked Questions
Are these speakers wireless?
No, the Yamaha HS3 are powered speakers so they don't require an amplifier, but they do require a cable connection to your source device (audio interface, turntable, CD player, etc).
Do these come in black?
Yes, however only the white model is currently discounted. The black finish is available by special order only.
What's the difference between the HS3 and HS4?
The main difference is the driver size - HS3 has 3.5" woofers while HS4 has 4.5" woofers. This gives the HS4 deeper bass response (60 Hz vs 70 Hz) and slightly higher maximum output (102 dB vs 100 dB SPL).
