Yamaha CD-C603 5-Disc Carousel CD Player features high-performance parts and circuitry as well as Yamaha’s patented ‘PlayXchange’ technology for continuous music enjoyment.

Yamaha CD changers are a 5-disc carousel type, giving you the benefits of extended playing time and direct selection from any of five discs. With PlayXchange, you can change up to four discs while the fifth continues to play.

Pure Direct

The CD-C603 provides the same Pure Direct feature that is popular on many Yamaha amplifiers and receivers. Pressing the button on the front panel or on the remote control shuts down the digital audio output and turns off the display. This achieves the lowest possible noise interference and thus the highest sound quality of the analogue audio output.

Great CD Player
When I needed a decent CD player to play some older classics that I didn’t have on vinyl, I found Toods HiFi. Shipping quick, and player arrived in perfect condition and installed in minutes.
The Yamaha CD is one of the best.

5 Disc CD Player
This is an excellent player. It is quite easy to operate with all the controls on the remote control.
The only downside that we have found, is that it does not do "Random all discs". It does do "Random play" on single discs.
The sounds produced are very good.
I recommend this CD player to anyone needing to have continuous music.

So close to 5 stars
I am accustomed to be able to pause a CD at the start of a track, and then later, be able to re-start listening at that point. I am surprised this feature is not on this model. Apart from that, it's a beauty. 99% happy.
A good player is necessary for good over-all sound. Friends have noted a lift in "richness", as have I.
