The look & feel of the unit is good, finish is high quality & the depth of base fills the room impressively for a small unit. The reception & tuning however are disappointing, my Panasonic 2400D portable has better sensitivity by far & tunes more easily. There appears absolutely no difference when switching between external & internal FM antennas when it comes to tuning stations. There is huge hysteresis on the dial when trying to lock on to a station again worse than a cheap Panasonic portable. The only stations we can tune with clarity are ABC & we are 150klm north of Brisbane not exactly "remote". so overall a disappointing outcome.

Pleased with radio. Solidly built and designed and

produces sound as from 60’s radios which were

rather base bias. One criticism being tuning which

is precise moving clockwise but difficult anticlockwise.

As though the tuning string has slack in it. Similar

again to past early radios. Otherwise a good product.
