Advanced YST
Advanced Yamaha Active Servo Technology (Advanced YST) is a unique system in which the speaker and amplifier work together to cancel out impedance so the speaker unit has a perfectly linear motion. Advanced YST helps to ensure the highest levels of sound pressure and overall performance.

Your Home Theatre Needs a Subwoofer

A subwoofer is a crucial addition to your home theatre setup. The subwoofer alleviates the need for your main speakers to reproduce bass frequencies, enabling them to reproduce more coherent results in the mid and high frequency bands. It also frees up extra amplifier power to drive these main speakers.

Place Them Anywhere

You should be able to place your subwoofer wherever you like, however your subwoofers performance will be greatly affected by its proximity to walls and other reflective surfaces. Yamahas down-firing subwoofers employ patented QD-Bass (Quatre-Dispersion Bass) technology to evenly distribute bass energy in all directions, giving you more freedom of placement.
